Kanye West has confirmed a collaboration with YEEZY, Gap, and Balenciaga. After collaborating with Balenciaga’s creative director, Demna Gvasalia for over a year on various projects––most recently, DONDA and the fundraiser where
he helped raise $1 million with the luxury brand for the late DMX’s family––it was only a matter of time before the two would team up again to create something with their respective brands. The collab has been confirmed to be a three-way partnership with Gap.
According to reports, Kanye West and Demna are teaming up for a special project with Gap called “YEEZY x Gap Engineered by Balenciaga.” The deal will bring together the three popular fashion brands for something they say fans have never seen before.

In a photo shared by Kanye West on Instagram on Friday, January 7, people can see what appears to be a contract for the upcoming partnership between the three brands. He didn’t reveal any more details.
“It is a vision come true to work with Gap and Demna, the creative director of Balenciaga, to make incredible product available to everyone at all times,” Ye told the press.
The collection won’t just be Balenciaga at Gap prices. Demna has made it clear that: “This is a very different challenge. I’ve always appreciated the utilitarianism and the accessibility of Gap. I share some of the same sensibilities in my creative language. This project allowed me to join forces [with Ye] to create utilitarian fashion for all.”
The first line of Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga merchandise is expected to arrive in June 2022, with another drop coming later in the year.
