On January 15, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter Chicago turned four-years-old. To celebrate, Kardashian shared some rare photos and videos of her “Chi Chi princess” hanging out with mom and
the rest of her siblings on her Instagram timeline.
“My birthday baby girl Chi Chi turns 4 today!” Kardashian captioned the images. “My independent baby girl twin. You are the most lovable huggable snuggable baby girl on the planet. The ultimate princess! I can’t wait to celebrate with all of the Barbies and LOL Dolls a girl could dream of lol. You really have brought so much joy into our family and I love you so so soooo much!!!!”
Chicago is the second youngest of Kardashian and West's four children, who include North, Saint and the youngest, Psalm. Both Chicago and Psalm were born via surrogate after Kardashian suffered through pregnancy complications including preeclampsia and was forced to give birth to Saint at only 34 weeks. His name was chosen because his successful delivery was a “blessing.”
At the time, a source toldPeople, “Given her health scares in the past, Kim felt the need to hire a surrogacy agency that helped serve as the liaison in finding a healthy woman who would be a great surrogate option for her and Kanye.”
Chicago is believed to be named in honor of West's hometown.
Early in 2021, Kardashian filed for divorce from West and recently filed a petition to be considered “officially single” as other aspects of their divorce, like property division, are worked out. Meanwhile, West purchased a house across from their once-shared Hidden Hills estate, supposedly to keep close to his kids for a successful co-parenting relationship. The rapper has also been quite vocal about wanting a reconciliation with his ex, but Kardashian is currently dating comedian Pete Davidson.
