Kate Middleton Paired a Gray Plaid Blazer With an All-Black Look

Kate Middleton showed exactly how to style a statement blazer earlier today during her visit to PACT (Parents and Children Together) in Southwark. The Duchess of Cambridge paired a gray plaid

Catherine Walker blazer with a solid black top, belted black pants, and black heels. She wore her hair down and accessorized with a necklace and drop earrings. Technically, the plaid print is called the Prince of Wales check, a nod to her father-in-law Prince Charles, who holds the title.

While there, the Duchess of Cambridge met volunteers and attendees of PACT Southwark’s weekly MumSpace group. Kate reflected on the visit on her and Prince William’s Instagram.

Her team wrote:

Talking with parents, volunteers, and health professionals from @pact_southwark this morning to hear about the benefits of community empowerment and support provided by this incredible organization.

One of the key takeaways was how local support networks are such a core principle in giving parents the confidence and resilience to support their children—overcoming the challenges of their individual circumstances.

The project is another great example of best practice in leveraging the power of communities for support of one another.

Kate’s appearance today comes after the Duchess was photographed out shopping on Friday at the Peter Jones department store in London’s Chelsea neighborhood. That outing offered a very rare look at her off-duty style. Kate wore skinny jeans with a Ralph Lauren sweater, Massimo Dutti coat, and Blundstone boots. She wore her hair down.
