Kanye West has moved on from Julia Fox and is now Instagram official with a new muse, Chaney Jones, a 24-year-old model with a striking resemblance to West's ex Kim Kardashian—
West reposted an Instagram from The Shade Room of him and Jones together. He captioned it with a black heart. Per Daily Mail, Jones commented, “My love,” with her own black heart and fingers crossed emoji on the post. She also liked the post.
Sources spoke to E! and Entertainment Tonightabout their nature of their relationship. A source close to West downplayed the deep romantic connection, saying Jones and West are “having fun.”
“They have been spending a lot of time together in the last two weeks and he likes her company,” a source told E!. “She travels with him, and they are having a good time.” That source added that west isn't “dating anyone exclusively,” and there “isn't a label” for him and Jones' relationship yet.
Entertainment Tonight's source echoed that sentiment in a report two days ago. “Kanye and Chaney are seeing each other and having fun,” the source said. “It's by no means a serious relationship. She's having fun hanging out with him and enjoying all the cool things they're doing together.”
West and Kardashian have a hearing scheduled today to determined whether their marriage will be dissolved, making them legally single as they finalize financial, custody, and property details in their divorce.
Kardashian filed court documents last week asking the judge make her legally single ASAP. “I very much desire to be divorced. I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so,” Kardashian said the filing, which Rolling Stone and TMZ obtained. “Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress. I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children.”
She added, “While I wish our marriage would have succeeded, I have come to the realization that there is no way to repair our marriage. Kanye does not agree but at least it appears that he has come to the realization that I want to end our marriage, even if he does not. I ask that the court restore me to the status of a single person so that I can begin the healing process and so that our family can begin the healing process and move forward in this new chapter in our lives.”
