Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are going to be parents of two soon—and they’re delighted. A source spoke to Entertainment Tonightabout how the couple feels about welcoming their second child later
this year. They welcomed their first baby, one-year-old daughter Willa, in July 2020.
“Sophie and Joe were overjoyed to learn they are expecting a second child,” a source said. “They both have siblings and didn’t want their daughter to be an only child and have talked about having a bigger family. The couple recently celebrated Sophie’s birthday, as well as the pregnancy.”
Neither Jonas nor Turner have commented on reports of Turner’s pregnancy themselves. The source did not detail when Turner’s due date is, or the baby’s sex. (This is in line with what they did when Turner was expecting Willa.)
Nor did she or Jonas ever verbally confirm reports that they were expecting. The couple’s reps merely confirmed news of Turner giving birth. “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby,” they said in a statement to Peoplein July 2020. No further details were shared at the time.
Turner went on to sharethrowbackphotos of her pregnancy on Instagram months after welcoming Willa. She and Jonas have never shared photos of their daughter and have kept details about her life private.
Jonas and Turner were photographed together in mid-February; their recent outings sparked rumors that Turner was expecting their second child.
