Geometric patterns are all the rage for Fall Winter 2020 2021, as seen at Fendi and Prada that revisit the same motif in different ways: while the brand designed by Silvia Venturini looks to 60s and 70s wallpaper, with a circle motif in retro nuances, Mrs Miuccia’s sweaters reinterpret scandi style as seen through a magnifying lenses, creating multicolored kaleidoscopic patterns.
Among the brands that chose to experiment with printed knits, Emporio Armani stands out for its original marble effect emblazoned on the soft mohair; the same type of contrast was seen in the Fall Winter 2020 2021 collection from Hermès, featuring sculptural elements in leather stitched to form Tetris-like patches.
