Serena Williams's daughter, Alexis Olympia, turned 3 on September 1, which means it's time to get her out on the tennis court. On her Instagram story, the tennis champion shared her
process of preparing her toddler to take on the sport, and it's pretty darn adorable.
"Guys, I signed Olympia up for tennis lessons," she said on the video. "Don't even start with me, because I'm not giving her tennis lessons; I signed her up for some. But the lady has no idea that it's my daughter, so we'll see how long that lasts."

Umm, imagine being that tennis instructor the moment you realize whose kid you've got in your class. Terrifying.
Anyway, Williams showed off footage of the tennis racquet she got for her daughter, which matches hers. And she got a black-and-white tennis outfit for Olympia and her doll. "I'm not a pushy mom, but I know how I like technique, so I want to make sure she's good at teaching Olympia some techniques," she said.
Williams also dressed for the occasion. I don't know about you, but I am very excited for Serena Williams, Tennis Mom:
It seemed that this tennis mom also wanted to get Olympia started on technique before she even held a racquet in her little hands. She shared a video of her daughter taking in a tennis match. "See that open stance?," she said to her as the 3-year-old focused on the screen.
"So she's at her tennis lesson, but I'm gonna leave, so I'm not distracting," Williams said as she updated followers on the day. "I know how to leave and be. I'm not, like, an overprotective mom...no matter what Alexis says," she added, referring to her husband.
To be fair, Alexis also seems to be a very invested dad. I mean, look at this epic pancake he appeared to make Olympia this morning:
If she wants to be, this kid can be one mean powerhouse on the tennis court. Powered by pancakes and epic fashion.
