How To Watch the Grammys On Sunday Night

On Sunday, the Grammys will be happening in a live ceremony at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas after being postponed due to the COVID-19 omicron variant surge in

January. Usually, we'd know by now who our winners are and they'd have already received their Grammys at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Luckily, one thing that's the same as last year is Trevor Noah serving as the Grammys' host.

Here's how you can watch the ceremonies.

When are the Grammys taking place?

On April 3 at 8pm eastern standard time, the ceremony should start, but red carpet coverage begins an hour beforehand. However, it looks like CBS has scheduled 60 Minutes just before the program. You can watch arrivals on grammy.com and many pop culture websites and networks stream their own coverage online.

How long are the Grammys?

The telecast is scheduled to be three and a half hours long, but that's actually not enough time to present all the awards. Actor LeVar Burton will be hosting the Grammys' Premiere Ceremony, which begins at 3:30pm EST, according to Billboard, and can be viewed as it livestreams on live.grammy.com or the Grammys' YouTube page if you want hours more of content.

Where can the Grammys be seen?

If you have cable, you can just turn on your TV and head over to CBS. The channel's website and CBS app will be streaming the show as well, but you need a cable subscription to login.

If you don't have cable, you can tune in on YouTube TV or Hulu + Live TV, if you have a subscription. It's also streaming for subscribers on Paramount+ and will be available to watch there afterwards on demand.

Who will be at the Grammys?

In addition to host Trevor Noah, you can expect to see performances from artists like BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X With Jack Harlow, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Jon Batiste, H.E.R., and Olivia Rodrigo. The Foo Fighters were scheduled to perform this year after receiving three nominations, but have stepped down following the recent death of their drummer, Taylor Hawkins.

There is also a planned tribute to late composer Stephen Sondheim, featuring Leslie Odom Jr., Ben Platt, Rachel Zegler, and Grammy winner Cynthia Erivo.
