Kate Middleton stepped out with the royal family this afternoon in London for the Anzac Day commemoration service at Westminster Abbey, and she brought out one of her most regal ensembles
of the year. Kate paired a white Alexander McQueen coat dress with a matching hat. She wore her brown hair down straight and accessorized with black heels and a black clutch. The McQueen coat dress Kate wore previously to Princess Charlotte's christening, royal reporter Carolyn Durand pointed out on Twitter.
Kate's appearance comes just days after she and her husband Prince William shared a rare new glimpse of their youngest son Prince Louis in honor of his 4th birthday on April 23. Kate took new photos of Louis on the beach, which were shared to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Instagram.
“Thank you for all the lovely birthday messages for Prince Louis today! ?” they captioned their second post.
Kate has largely kept details about her life parenting Louis and his older brother Prince George and older sister Princess Charlotte private. But in April 2020, she spoke to the BBC about the experience quarantining with her three children and William.
“Children have got such stamina,” she told the outlet. “I don't know how, honestly. You get to the end of the day and you write a list of all the things you've done in that day. You've pitched a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake, you get to the end of the day. They've had a lovely time. It's amazing how much you can cram into one day, that's for sure.”
With explaining the coronavirus pandemic to them, "“George is much older than Louis is and things, but they are aware [that things are different because of COVID-19],” she said. “And I’m always surprised and although you don’t want to scare them and make it too overwhelming, I think it is appropriate to acknowledge it [the pandemic] in simple ways and age-appropriate ways.”
