Kim Kardashian Wears Marilyn Monroe's Dress With Pete Davidson for Their Met Gala Debut

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson made their biggest milestone appearance as a couple yet tonight, attending the Met Gala in New York City side-by-side on the red carpet.

Kardashian had

one of the biggest fashion moments of the night, wearing the Jean-Louis-designed dress that Marilyn Monroe wore to sing “happy birthday” to President John Kennedy. She came with Monroe-like platinum hair for the occasion. Davidson opted to wear a suit and let Kardashian take the sartorial spotlight, though he did gaze lovingly at her in front of photographers.

This is Kardashian and Davidson's first Met Gala red carpet together.

Kardashian has becoming increasingly open about her relationship with the Saturday Night Live comedian. In April, the reality star gave her first big comment on how their relationship was doing to ABC News. Kardashian said, “I am a relationship kind of girl, for sure, and I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t plan on spending a lot of my time with them. Obviously, I want to take my time, but I’m very happy and very content. And, it’s such a good feeling to be at peace.”

She also spoke to Variety about whether to expect Davidson making an appearance on her family's new reality show, The Kardashians, on Hulu. The answer is not yet...but she will be talking about him and their love story there.

“I have not filmed with him,” she said. “And I’m not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does. But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn’t be for this season.”
