Halloween 2020 was a truly wacky one. Neighborhoods came up with new and creative ways to keep trick-or-treaters safe from COVID-19 (the candy shoot is a seriously cool invention). Ariana Grande
used her platform to encourage people to stay home instead of going to big parties and spreading the virus. Celebrities dressed up, but many of them stayed home and used their Instagram to show off their creative looks. But one look outdid all the others: Cardi B's Medusa costume.
Cardi did it right. If you can't party with a big group of friends, come up with a showstopper costume, do a photoshoot, and post at least two photos on your grid. She tagged Laurel DeWitt, who designed the snake body and Baba Jagne, who designed the top and skirt. I mean, a costume this good cannot be the brainchild of just one person. Everyone who had a hand in this deserves all the credit Cardi is giving them.
But Cardi wasn't the only one in her household to slay Halloween. Her 2-year-old daughter, Kulture, wore a Wonder Woman costume. When you are 2 and a superhero, you don't have to pose with a serious face; you can giggle and smile, and be distracted from the camera. It's actually much cuter that way.

Cardi B won Halloween with this costume, but she also won the holiday the moment Ciara recreated her look.

"I’m gagging!," she wrote, praising Ciara for the costume. "I love it! I’m so hype! I’ve always been a huge fan of @ciara and became an even bigger fan after I met her! She is the most sweetest and the most nicest person in the world! A true peach! Staying sweet and humble was the prayer!"
