Photo Vogue Festival 2020: The Talks

From November 19, 2020 the complete exhibitions – “All in this together” and “In the picture - Shifting perspectives in fashion photography” – will be visible on the online platform:

From November 19-22, 2020 the platform will be animated by conversations on photography in all its forms and projections made by Magnum Photos, PHmuseum and Slideluck Editorial.

In line with the mission of the PVF, the talks of this edition will range from photojournalism to fashion photography, dealing with current issues such as: representation and empowerment, black voices in Italy and in the international fashion system, the evolution of the representation of people with disabilities and gender identity in the media, the analytical reading of news photographs, the impact on professional photography of sharing images on social media and that of the moment of uncertainty we are going through on art and publishing.

November 19th

• 6 pm CET | Live Opening - The registration to the digital launch event on Zoom will be open from November 12, 2020 at photovoguefestival.vogue.it

November 20th

• 3 pm CET | Art is in the details. A conversation between Cristiano Portis, Viola Arrivabene, German Larkin and Simple Flair - Riccardo Crenna and Simona Flacco, moderated by the Artistic Director of PVF Alessia Glaviano

• 4 pm CET | The origin of the Female Gaze. A conversation between Bettina Rheims and Alessia Glaviano

• 6 pm CET | Posthuman Identities. A conversation between Ben Ditto and Arca with Chiara Bardelli Nonino

• 7 pm CET | Photography Transformed in the Age of the Image. A conversation between Fred Ritchin, Nathan Jurgenson and Alessia Glaviano
