Taylor Swift Fans Think Gigi Hadid's Baby Is Named 'Dorothea,' But Here's the Truth

A couple fan theories went viral over the weekend in the hours after Taylor Swift released her surprise second album of 2020, evermore. Among them was Swift fans being convincing that

Swift's track "Dorothea" was actually Swift giving away the name of her friend Gigi Hadid's daughter with Zayn Malik.

Malik and Hadid have purposely kept the baby's name private for now, and Swift did reveal her friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' third daughter's name Betty on her last album, folklore. Fans also pointed to photos Hadid recently posted of herself pregnant in August, theorizing they could have been an Easter egg because "august" is a track on folklore.

Sources connected to Hadid spoke to TMZ about whether or not that theory has any grounding in reality. According to them, it doesn't. The baby's name isn't Dorothea. TMZ added it will come out in due time, although there's no clear giveaway date.

Hadid did show her support of Swift this weekend when she shared a birthday tribute to Swift, who turned 31 on Sunday. "Happy 31st year, my T! Wish we could be together to celebrate. Love u so much," Hadid wrote on her Instagram Story.

Hadid had a similarly adoring post last year. She wrote then, "My T ! ? An old soul celebrating 30 years here ... and what a phenomenon you are. It’s rare someone can be inimitable yet still make hearts feel at home with innate generosity. I love you and can’t wait to celebrate you sister !!!! HAPPY BDAY????? @taylorswift"
