Dua Lipa was the musical guest last night on Saturday Night Live, where she made a cameo in a World War II-era U.S.O. sketch with Bowen Yang and host Kristen Wiig.
She's barely in the sketch, but she absolutely steals the scene—and for good reason.
The sketch plays off of White Christmas and features Wiig as a medic, who says in a quick-paced 1940s tone, "Well, I may be a lousy medic, but let's see if I can be a half-decent singer." Soon, Yang, joins the sketch and it turns into a hip-hop/pop (?) show. Wiig and Yang proceed to tell a story of sex, cheating, and scandal that ends with a surprise appearance.
"Remind me; do you wear red satin panties?" Yang asks Wiig's character. "Girl, you know I don't," Wiig responds. "Then why did I find these in your briefcase?," Yang says.
"I've been looking for those," Dua Lipa, dressed in her U.S.O. garb, says.
"MARJORIE!," they shout. Yes, Taylor Swift fans have already pointed out the evermore reference on Twitter.

But here's the important part: Dua Lipa spanks (a very giddy) Yang.

Jill Gutowitz says it best:

The rest of Twitter seemed pretty pleased with Dua Lipa's presence on the show, and as a result, fell further in love with her:

Congratulations seem to be in order for Dua Lipa, who was not the host but made a pretty good case for herself in case she ever wants to fill that role.
