Winter has fully arrived, but Jennifer Lopez would like to remind everyone, including herself, that warmer days will come back eventually. The singer, who returned from a tropical trip, posted a

shot of herself there compared to being home now. On the beach, she looked stunning in an emerald high-cut halter one-piece. Now, she's bundled up in a North Face x Gucci winter coat. "How last week started ➡️ how it’s going this week," she captioned the two-slide post.

In a December interview with ELLE, Lopez talked about the daily affirmations she tells herself. “Every day, I say I am youthful and timeless at every age," she said. "I live a beautiful adventurous life with my children, and we're all in perfect health, always. All of these great things you learn to say to yourself so there's this positive self-talk in your head really does create a beautiful person on the inside who maintains a beautiful person on the outside."

The 51-year-old singer added that society shouldn't focus so much on age or it dictating how you feel about yourself and what you can do. "You never want to hear you look great for 50. They want to just hear you look great, no matter what age you are," she said. "And for me and for the company, that is a big part of it. We don't want people going, you look great for 60, 50, 40, 35. You want people to just go, wow, you look amazing. That's part of our goal—to help everybody feel they look amazing no matter what age they are, so we don't have to hear about that so much. It doesn't become such a big deal. 'Oh my God, she's 50.' It's like, does it matter? You're just your best self, no matter what."
