Selena Gomez spent part of her weekend shooting Only Murders in the Buildingin New York City, and the actress was back on set early this morning to work again. Before 11
AM local time, Gomez was photographed in two very different winter outfits.
Her first was very cozy. Gomez arrived on set, wearing a cream teddy coat with cream pants, boots, and a white sweater. It was your quarantine loungewear uniform, with a little New York City street style polish, courtesy the coat.
Later, Gomez was photographed wearing a tan skirt, dark sweater, and tights under a black puffer coat. That was more polished, presumably meant for the scene she is shooting today for the upcoming Hulu series. She carried a Rare Beauty tote and wore her cozy boots between takes:
Gomez's New York sighting comes just days after she released her first Spanish single, "De Una Vez," on Thursday night. Gomez explained in an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe what the song means to her. "This has been something I've wanted to do for 10 years, working on a Spanish project, because I'm so, so proud of my heritage, and just genuinely felt like I wanted this to happen," she said. "And it happened, and I feel like it's the perfect timing. Just with all the division in the world, there's something about Latin music that globally just makes people feel things, you know?"
"You know what's funny, is I actually think I sing better in Spanish," she continued. "That was something I discovered. It was a lot of work, and look, you cannot mispronounce anything. It is something that needed to be precise, and needed to be respected by the audience I'm going to release this for. Of course I want everyone to enjoy the music, but I am targeting my fan base. I'm targeting my heritage, and I couldn't be more excited."
