Gigi Hadid Actually Revealed Her Daughter's Name in a Photo Two Months Ago

Gigi Hadid waited four months to publicly announce the name of her daughter with Zayn Malik, adding baby girl Khai's name to her Instagram bio on January 22. But it turns

out the 25-year-old model subtly revealed the name on Instagram in November.

Fans noticed that Khai was hidden in a Christmas photo Hadid posted in an Instagram gallery on November 22.

On the last slide of the post, Khai appears written in a bucket next to Hadid's Christmas tree. It isn't something anyone would notice without zooming in on the photo and brightening it—part of the reason, presumably, that Khai's name remained a mystery until months after the picture was posted. But it's there out in the open, as seen below:

Hadid named her daughter Khai in tribute to her grandmother Khairiah on her father's side, a source close to the couple told TMZ this month. Khai also means "crowned" in Arabic.

Shortly before Hadid shared Khai's name, she posted a photo of herself with her four-month-old daughter on her Instagram Story. "My girl, 4 months & THE BEST KID," Hadid wrote.

A source spoke to Entertainment Tonightearlier in January about how Hadid and Malik are doing as new parents to Khai, who was born in September. "Motherhood has come to her with such ease," the source said of Hadid. "She is such a natural."

Malik and Hadid, "[they] are so in love and having a baby together has brought them even closer," the source continued. "They share the same values when it comes to culture, family and parenting. Gigi and Zayn both have very close relationships with their families and raising their daughter with that same loving environment is very important to them."
