Tomorrow, on February 1, Kylie Jenner's daughter, Stormi Webster, will turn 3 years old. Kylie is known to throw a big birthday bash—especially for her daughter. This year, even with a
pandemic raging and millions of people still in line for the COVID-19 vaccines, Kylie, Stormi, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Dream Kardashian, True Thompson, Penelope Disick, North West, and Chicago West all took off on a girls trip to celebrate Stormi's birthday in Turks and Caicos.
The island is open for tourism with restrictions right now. California, which recently experienced overwhelming cases—especially in L.A., where the Kardashian-Jenners live—strongly discourages traveling for pleasure.
"It was a girls' trip to celebrate Stormi's birthday in one of their favorite places. They stayed at a private villa where they have often stayed in the past," a source told E!. "They stayed for three nights and had a great vacation spending time at the beach, swimming, taking boat rides and playing in the sand." The source went on: "Kylie also brought along some of her best friends, including Stassie [Karanikolaou] and Victoria [Villarroel].They flew on Kylie's jet and had a great few days celebrating Stormi. They took off and headed home on Friday night to have more birthday celebrations for Stormi in L.A."
The sisters posted on their Instagram stories to show off the good time they were having.
Khloé posted a photo of her sandy body. "I love my stripes," she wrote:
Here's another of her scenery:
Kylie posted a "random photo dump" from the trip, which included a photo of Stormi's birthday balloons:
She shared another of Stormi looking out at the view:
"Girls trip!," Kim captioned the photo of her daughters.
The Kardashian-Jenner family has been known to break COVID protocol throughout this pandemic. Kylie has taken a few trips, including a jaunt to Paris last August. For Kim's 40th birthday last October, she, her friends, and her family all went to a private island to celebrate.
"After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time," Kim wrote in a Twitter thread then.
40 and feeling so humbled and blessed. There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter. pic.twitter.com/p98SN0RDZD

Anyway. Double-mask, stay home if you can, and maybe don't travel if you don't have to!
