Sleep is important. But a great mattress can be wildly expensive. "If only I could see all of the best labor day mattress sales in one place," you've surely thought to
yourself while tossing and turning through another sleepless night. Well! We read your mind, fine-tooth-combed the mattress internet, and created such a destination. Thanks to the Labor Day weekend, a bunch of our favorite mattresses are marked down further than usual right now. Below, all the best Labor Day mattress sales you can score right now.
Helix
GQ staffers' all-around favorite mattress is included in Helix's sliding scale Labor Day sale. This weekend, you can take $200 off the luxe hybrid and snag a set of the company's dream pillows for free. The company's cheaper mattresses are also on sale, but they don't come with as big of a discount.
Allswell
Allswell Luxe Hybrid mattress (was $645, now 15% off with code "PERFECTROOM")
Allswell's super basic mattress, our favorite of their line, isn't on sale, but the company's more supportive Luxe and Supreme mattresses are. Use code "PERFECTROOM" to get 15% off. The code also gets you 20% off the company's bedding and bath stuff.
Birch
Birch's mattresses are designed and sold by Helix, but with a focus on using more natural materials. The company is offering the mattress at a $200 discount this weekend, no code required.
Leesa
All of Leesa's mattresses are discounted this weekend. We think the best buy is their hybrid, which is just under $300 off at the Queen size. But if you want the cheaper original mattress or the more decked out “Legend” mattress, you can get up to $200 or $400 off, respectively, depending on the size.
Layla Sleep
Layla Sleep is (mercifully) offering discounts without codes. The company's Hybrid mattress is $200 off, and comes with 2 free memory foam pillows. The company is also cutting the price of its weighted blanket and memory foam mattress topper by $30 and $50, respectively.
Purple
Purple's unique mattress, the best weird mattress we've tested, is on sale this weekend. The company's Hybrid and Hybrid Premiere mattresses are also marked down, but those aren't as nearly as fun. If you really want to get weird, the company's bundles are on sale. Unfortunately, none include one of the company's wonderful seat cushions.
Nest Bedding
Nest Bedding "Alexander" hybrid mattress (was $1,500, now 20% off with code "SUMMERLOVE")
If you spend more than $150 at Nest Bedding, which you'll have to in order to buy any mattress, you can use code "SUMMERLOVE" to get 20% off your whole cart. Toss in some of the company's soft bedding while you're at it.
Floyd
You probably know Floyd as the company that makes the bed you see all over Instagram. Well, the company also makes a mattress. It's on sale this weekend, as is a lot of its furniture.
Amerisleep
Amerisleep's mattresses are all 30% off this weekend. We haven't tested any of their mattresses ourselves, but nearly all reviews say they run on the firm side. If that's what you like, go forth—the company will sweeten the deal with two of its pillows.
Zoma
Zoma's four layered mattresses are made specifically for athletes, designed with “recovery” in mind. This might not actually mean very much, but it does give the brand cover to bestow each layer of the mattress a wacky sneaker-esque name. (Triangulex™, Reactiv™, SUPPORT+, oh my!) But reviews of the mattress are generally positive, especially from side-sleepers who weigh less than 200 pounds. Through the weekend it's $150 off and comes with two free pillows.
Cocoon by Sealy
This mattress is made with hot sleepers in mind. The top layer is a stretch-knit cover that absorbs heat. It's currently 35% off and comes with a set of pillows and sheets.
Bear Mattress
The Bear Mattress is another made with a focus on cooling. With code "LD20," the mattress is 20% off and comes with two free pillows.
