How to Help Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence

and infliction of emotional distress. "It’s hard to do this publicly," the singer said. "But I want people to know my story. According to UN Women, 35 percent of women globally "have experienced physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence, or sexual violence by a non-partner."
