Princess Eugenie and her husband of more than two years, Jack Brooksbank, have revealed their son's name. In an Instagram post on Saturday, which included three photos of the baby's face,
the couple announced their son's name is August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
In her Instagram story, Eugenie revealed that he was named after her grandfather, Prince Philip, and "both of his great x5 grandfathers."
"On his grandfather's birthday weekend, we are thinking of my grandfather, we are introducing our little boy," she wrote, referencing her father, Prince Andrew, who turned 61 yesterday.
She continued: "Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can't express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.
? By our wonderful midwife. Thank you to the wonderful essential workers including our midwife who came to discharge our boy."

Buckingham Palace revealed on February 9 that Princess Eugenie had given birthday to a baby boy at the Portland Hospital in London.
"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 0855hrs at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present," the statement announcing the birth read.
According to a press release, "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news."
Eugenie tied the knot with Jack on October 12, 2018, just days before Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (who were in attendance) announced they were expecting their first child. Eugenie and Jack announced they were expecting their first child via a statement from the Palace, alongside a photo of the two holding a pair of tiny bear slippers.
"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021. The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news."
