Monki launches new app with omnichannel and sustainability features

H&M Group’s Monki brand has this month launched a new app as part of its

“ongoing work to engage with its community and offer ways of interacting with the brand and each other”.

It comes with the Monki community space, Monkisphere. The company said this is the "go-to place for anyone who wants to hang out digitally with fellow Monki fans, release their inner stylist, enter competitions and share feedback directly with the brand”.

It also links to the physical shopping experience. Customers who are shopping in-store will be able to “find and unlock unique offers” by using the scanning function.

Additionally, the app will enable customers to order services to help make their garments last longer. The company said that “with M.IN.T Care, customers can order wash, repair or redesign services directly from home. Small but important actions that help customers care for their favourite pieces, and at the same time care for the environment”.

It’s debuting in Sweden with a rollout internationally to follow, although he company has given no timetable for this.
