world’s most stylish Black male celebrities and influencers know better, and last week they kept their style personal, iconoclastic, and cool.

The looks

Fit and flare may have been the week’s dominant theme, but there were other alluring and subtle hues to be found on the on the streets and at events. Consider Rich Mnisi’s mono-label ensemble which he wore to catch flight. He was decked head to toe in an Adidas ensemble comprising of a blue and carton color trench coat with matching pants worn over a white t-shirt. For shoes, Mnisi went with a pair of white classic Adidas sneakers. The look was comfortable and minimal which is a side of the fashion designer we are not used to seeing as he traded volume and ornamentation for a different, more modern look suiting the current weather in South Africa.

Over in the United States, Seattle Seahawk player Jamal Adams proved that style is a sport as he looked elevated in a cozy and uber-stylish fit. For his pre-game look against the Tennessee Titans, the footballer wore a pink Jacquemus cotton shirt and a pair of Nanushka stripped pants. He completed the ensemble with a pair of Tom Ford sneakers and added some extra designer spice with a Louis Vuitton coffee cup. The bold palette was at once rule-smashing and eye-popping. Of course, the right answer to those who say men can’t wear pink.
