Swiss group Givaudan, the world's number one fragrance and aroma manufacturer, has bought a 25% stake in
Italian company b.kolor, which specializes in the design and development of make-up and skincare products. Givaudan announced the deal on Thursday, without revealing the financial details.

The Swiss group, which regularly carries out targeted acquisitions, indicated in a press release that it is continuing its expansion in the skincare and make-up segments.
A company founded in 2000, b.kolor develops make-up and skincare products for cosmetics and luxury brands, being involved in every phase of the creation process.
In the press release, Givaudan said that b.kolor is based in Milan and employs 250 people.
As part of the partnership established with this acquisition, b.kolor will offer Givaudan and its clients new solutions to enable them to accelerate their product development process. In return, b.kolor will have access to Givaudan's range of ingredients.
The deal gives Givaudan the option to acquire a majority stake in b.kolor within three years.
