Last Week, The Best Beauty Looks Explored Ethereal Dimensions

I

t’s officially the last month of the year and we can literally hear the fireworks go off! Of course, we aren’t just celebrating because the year’s coming to a close (although,

it’s been a good one), but also the beauty looks spotted on Black women this 2021. From full-on glam to subtle wonders, there’s been no shortage of hair and makeup inspirations for the modern woman as seen on women of color. As expected, last week steamed with pipping hot beauty looks on Black women with each serving what would undoubtedly claim a spot on Santa’s nice list, or preferably, our best beauty looks list.

The Looks

Every woman knows the power of a good red lipstick, including Tracee Ellis Ross. For her Elle Mexico photoshoot, the actress opted for an orangey-red lipstick that added a pop to her look. The lipstick was also a soft-match for her barely-there blush and that sat proudly on her cheek. In addition, the look also saw the Black-ish star’s lid tinted with smoky shadow, and we can confirm it was certainly a slay!

Tints of orange seemed to have been a theme last week. Hollywood actress, Meagan Good took the route in a burnt-orange eyeshadow that was the focal point of the entire facebeat. The orange shadow was kept in two shades with the lighter, firer option gracing her outer-V. A major part of this look was definitely Meagan’s glowy skin that served as the perfect canvas for the makeup.

Hair

Sleek, well laidback hair will never go out of style, but if you ever had doubts, let SA media personality Pearl Thusi clear your doubts. The star girl graced our IG feed with a three-parts hairstyle accentuated with lengthy baby hair. She appropriately captioned it: “Baby hair don’t care. LOL,” and with a mane like that, you should’t have any cares in the world.
