I

t seems like the wheels keep turning to lead us in the direction of impeccable style. Everywhere we look, there’s a style game going strong which we can’t help but

fall in love with. Maybe it comes with the fashion season and the style resurrection it brings, or maybe not. Either way, we are happy to announce that Rave-worthy fashion is still in and we are, of course, still sitting front row. As Black fashionistas kept the party going last week, we couldn’t help but curate some of our favorites. best dressed stars.

The Global Citizens show which was live in 7 cities around the world definitely allowed for varying style perspectives. As the stars aligned from their respective industries to stand against poverty and global hunger, they did so in simply stunning ensembles. Equally impressive was the Milan Fashion Week that had Black stars showing up in custom pieces that sparked up the red carpet. These events and more kept us hooked for more of the fashion shuga!

The Looks

When it was time forGabrielle Union to make an appearance at the Academy Museum Opening Gala, she did so in a black see-through couture dress by Alexandre Vauthier that was as effortless as it was dreamy. The look was complemented with black evening shoes and a simple diamond stud earrings. Certainly, it was right for a sophisticated style statement. Speaking of custom numbers, Tessa Thompson made a case for glam in a Dior all over fringe dress at the same event, an apt denotation of Hollywood glamor. best dressed stars.

Over in Nigeria, media girl Nancy Isime represented her heritage in a sassy African print dress and elaborate head wrap by Nigerian designer, Erica Moore. Nancy owned every inch of this look as she hosted this year’s The Global Citizens show in the city of Lagos alongside reality show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. The devil might wear Prada but angels also rock it nicely, too. This is evident in the pristine way South African actress Thuso Mbedu embodied a yellow ball dress by the designer. It was the perfect angelic glow up, only without the halo.

The styles shared by Black celebs and top fashion influencers last week were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous and it’s safe to say that we are, as usual, living vicariously through them. best dressed stars.
