Matrix's new formulas are infused with citric acid and are free of sulfates. Citric acid reinforces weakened hair bonds, which make up a large portion of the hair fiber. In addition, it works to maintain the consumer's hair integrity by strengthening the levels of hydrogen, salt, and disulfide in each strand of hair.
