Kao Corporation’s Merit brand was tasked with formulating waterless shampoo sheets, or dry shampoo sheets, for use on the International Space Station—and now, this hair care innovation is being made available to
consumers on Earth.
The Day Plus Dry Shampoo sheets are made for cleansing hair on the go and they combine mild yet effective surfactants with a special textured substrate that helps with the physical removal of oils and product build-up. The refreshing sheets are in line with a number of skincare, body care and hair care brands that are developing completely waterless products for the sake of conserving one of the world's most precious resources.
Merit's Day Plus Dry Shampoo is also available in the form of a waterless spray.
