The Dior Cruise 2022 show is set to take place in Athens this July and this is a fitting location for the collection, which was inspired by Greece. The collection is described
by the French fashion house as the "evocation of a surrealistic dream detailing the return to Earth of the Grecian goddess Irini" and it plays with elements of antiquity, athleticism and couture in a contemporary way.
Ahead of the show that's set to happen at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens—the site of the 1896 Olympics—Dior released a video that expresses the mood of the Cruise 2022 collection. The one-minute "animated mood board" shares a montage of inspiring images like columns, all-white outfits, busts, travel getups and sculpted statues.
