American luxury eyewear brand Oliver Peoples has unveiled a new foldable version of its popular Sheldrake sunglasses. Dubbed the Sheldrake 1950, the new compact model maintains the original's iconic silhouette but adds
a unique folding mechanism at the nose and temples.
The added mechanism allows wearers to fold down the Sheldrake 1950 into an ultra-compact form that can fit in the palm of a hand. In addition, the upgraded version of the Sheldrake comes with mineral glass lenses and custom filigree details on the metal folding cap.
Shoppers will have the option to choose from a variety of frame finishes, including Black, Bark, YTB, and 362, all of which come with matching lens colors. The newly launched Sheldrake 1950 is currently available to purchase on Oliver Peoples website.
