The Porsche Design Chronograph 1 1972 Limited Edition has been unveiled by the vehicle brand's lifestyle product offshoot as a timepiece that celebrates its 50th anniversary in a decidedly automotive-inspired manner. The
watch is an updated version of the Chronograph 1 that was originally debuted by the brand in 1972 and is constructed with a titanium case that replaces the original steel. The watch is equipped with a COSC-certified WERK 01.140 caliber movement along with an automatic power plant with a power reserve rated for 48-hours.
The Porsche Design Chronograph 1 1972 Limited Edition is priced at $7,700 and is limited to a mere 750 examples. The timepiece is further accentuated with flyback functionality and a PD-Icon rotor.
