MM6 Maison Margiela, the luxury fashion brand's more affordable sub-label, is embracing the Après Ski boot and slipper aesthetic for the Fall/Winter 2023 season.
The silhouette of the Après Ski boot
evokes the image of a black nylon puffer jacket because of the materials used for the upper. This design choice, along with the padded round toe and thick rubber sole unit, creates a distinctive and stylish look and exudes a dose of elegant edginess. The silhouette is complete with the tonal addition of MM6 Maison Margiela's branding. The Après Ski slippers follow a similar approach but feature a low-cut mule model.
While the entire FW23 collection showcases an evolution for the brand, the shoes, in particular, stand out as the star of the lineup.
