Raf SImons unveils a pair of the RUNNER boots for the Fall/Winter 2020 collection, which was showcased on the runway that was influenced by HBO's Watchmen. The design also references inspirations from
the show due to the futuristic design elements that capture a sci-fi aesthetic of space-age during the 60s.
The influences are showcased on the boots through the entirety of the design. It is a sleek silhouette that is reminiscent of a Chelsea boot with additions subtle accents at the heel base, showcasing a sleek logo. It is also similar to a David Bowie design language and during the show, a piano cover of the song 'Life on Mars?" played to close it all out.
